Biography

Hon. George Mireku Duker represented the Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency in the Parliament of Ghana for two terms. During his tenure he focused on the concerns of a constituency shaped by mining: community roads, school infrastructure, water access, scholarships for young people, and the relationship between mining companies and host communities.

    🚑 LEADERSHIP THAT DELIVERS DEVELOPMENT! 🚑 In 2018, as the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa–Nsuaem, Hon. George Mireku Duker, appealed to Gold Fields Ghana Limited to support our health facilities with ambulances. Today, that vision has become a reality! 🙏🏾🇬🇭 Gold Fields Ghana Limited has donated two fully equipped ambulances—one each to Apinto Government Hospital and Tarkwa Municipal Hospital—following the appeal made by Hon. Duker. This is what effective representation looks like: identifying community needs, engaging stakeholders, and delivering results that directly improve lives. 👏🏾 The work continues. The vision is bigger. The commitment remains unwavering.

    SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE

    Hon.George Mireku Duker lobbied for the TNA sports stadium 🏟️ which was built by Gold Fields Ghana limited and cost US$16.2 million and was handed over to the national sports authority in August 2024
